Elizar Veerman is a Moluccan-Dutch photographer and visual artist based between Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Maluku, Indonesia. His photographic practice is particularly concerned with the intersection of migration and class. Focusing on peripheral communities and diasporas, he portrays street culture, post-colonial identities and acts of (self-) reclamation in public space.
